Looking at this list there sure are a lot of red X's. Enough to make one worried anyway.

There's still an NDA I think. If things don't change after the 'launch period', then you can get worried.

    And then there's this:

    www.neogaf.com/...

That said, I'd rather no third-party games initially if they're going to be shitty ports. Remember the early PS3 ports from Xbox 360? The Orange Box? Horrible. I suspect Wii U might be the same.

I'm sure that if the tech is there developers will work with it more. I say give it 1-2 years and we'll see more ports. A lot of these games were deep in development before developers were even getting their hands on devkits.

Exclusives don't mean shit to me if I can't have the most wanted AAA titles of the year though :P

Agreed. I will be bitterly disappointed if things don't pick up from that list next year. I don't want to plug my ps3 in again, its huge, loud and hot. Without a gamepad too.

That's one mighty fine wall of shame. I do like some of those titles listed thought which sucks since it is surrounded by turds.

I also like SEGA as I believe they were the ones who put the most effort into their Wii games.

Yep, there are good 3rd party games on the wall. The point is to show how many more crap games there are though. For every title that a dev actually put some care into, there are 10 lazy crap cash grabbers.

Yeah the article refers to Sega as the best of the worst. I actually think the Capcom releases were the most solid.

The Godfather on the Wii was great. The head butt motion control made that game all sorts of fun. :)

Also making the point that this misconception that Nintendos consoles are for the casual market only is largely a product of the developers cash grab through endless shovel ware. And when that shovel ware didn't sell, they blamed everything else except the crap games they were producing. Very good article, thanks for posting.

There's also this www.gonintendo.com/... The game showed up on EB games reserve list. Along with Rainbow 6. I think it's coming.

Rockstar haven't ruled out PC and Wii U for GTAV

Several rumors have shown up for Watch Dogs Wii U

Why has "The Walking Dead" got a red X, its definitely on its way.

Rainbow 6 is also rumored to have a Wii U port.

Straight Right is porting an A+ Square-Enix title to Wii U, which could mean Hitman or Tomb Raider.

Old list is old. Rayman Legends is now multiplatform, not Wii U exclusive.

And besides all that, a new console will always get slim pickings for ports. Why bother spending the money porting the game, and getting it to work on totally different architecture, to sell to a worldwide audience of (currently) 3 million. Its simply not going to sell. Surely everyone remembers the lack of Ps3 games when it first launched, and the slower hardware sales too, and its a huge success. I'm confident the Wii U will sell 10 million minimum by the end of calender 2013, especially on the back of Januarys Nintendo Direct, and E3.

    Splinter Cell: Blacklist maybe www.nintendolife.com/...
Are Ubisoft the only publisher giving the Wii U good support? :O

To be honest I'm not too worried. As people have said, there is the exclusive "launch window" to keep things on the hush hush right now. Ubisoft are surely throwing everything they can at the Wii U, claiming that some of the best versions (AC3, Watchdogs) will be hitting the platform.

If sales pick up when some bigger games are released, I'm sure more third parties will show their support.

Seems we're getting a late release of Lego Batman 2. From the official press release:

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes will take advantage of the innovative Wii U™ GamePad controller. Players will navigate through Gotham City using an enhanced interactive map and select their favorite DC Comics characters to assemble a powerful team of heroes, all with the use of the controller's touchscreen. They can even enjoy the entire game experience on the GamePad in off-TV mode, or have a second player join in on the TV, so they can fight crime together without having to share a single screen.

My son really likes the Lego games, so having multiplayer without splitscreen is a really cool feature. I'll pick this up for us to play together.
