So i've been following this story for a few hours and doing some research. The Linkedin Profile for Chris Slater, Technical Project Manager at Straight Right reads:
"Working for Straight Right on a short term contract, porting a triple-A Square Enix game to the yet-to-be-released Wii U platform"
Speculation is pretty rampart at the moment. Hitman: Absolution, Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, FFXIV, heaps of games coming out. On the 7th of September, the CEO Tom Cargo came out with this statement:
"We’ve made a few bets on Wii U actually so we’re certainly hoping it does well. In addition to ME3 we have an original Wii U title in development, and we’ve started on another big game in a well known franchise that will be released in 2013.”
Now this could be read two ways. Firstly it could be a port of a game coming to other consoles in 2013, like Tomb Raider, or it could be a port of an alread-released Square-enix game, and that port is landing on WiiU in 2013. Straight Right is already porting Mass Effect 3. What do you all think.
