Yo! My name is Nathan. I'm a fourth-year university student studying Journalism. In-between my uni studies and various shenanigans, I am the senior games writer, reviewer and contributor for MMGN and our ninemsn counterpart, GamesFix. I focus on Xbox 360 and PS3 articles, news and games and have been a contributor since April 2012.

I love to read and write and am passionate about these two hobbies and furthering them creatively in my own time and as a professional career.

In addition to my gaming hobbies, I have a soft-spot for certain novels, comic book series and television shows; A Song of Ice and Fire (a.k.a. Game of Thrones book series) The Walking Dead (comics only) and The Wire (television show) being the three culprits I'm most obsessed with.

Love that list dude love all of those artists. Especially Common, my teen years were spent bumping that shit, I Used to Love H.E.R. is one of the most underrated songs of all time. Very true, we'll never have another NaS, tupac or B.I.G., kinda makes me sad lol.

Yeah Billups, Rip and 'Sheed were top players those playoffs. And yeah Horry is awesome, I love his miracle shots, such a good three-point shooter.

I love all urban music but I'm more of an old school R&B guy myself. That said, hip-hop comes second. I'd say from that era, Common, Nas, Ice Cube, 2Pac and Biggie (obviously), Masta Ace, Dre, DMX, LL Cool J, Busta and so on were some of the highlights, but there's too many to list. We won't have those superstars these days anymore.

@GangStarr: Yep, Tim Duncan is still the man. I still think the '05 playoffs are the best example of why I loved and still love the Spurs. That year Duncan, Horry, Ginobili, Parker, Barry, Bowen rocked it, though the Pistons and their equally awesome line-up made watching it all those years ago so awesome. I have to actually watch my team a little bit more these days; I'm really out of the loop. Ah Golden State man who's a Pacer's fan! No loyalty to your home turf! :P

Oh yeah and good to see someone else on MMGN who likes the old school rap beats, judging from the vids on your wall.

Ahh the spurs! My love for Tim Duncan is never-ending.

Well i'm originally from Oakland, CA and most of my family is still over there so I like to consider myself a Golden state man. Although the warriors are pretty terrible and my wife is from Indianapolis so I like to jump the fence and say im a pacers fan sometimes.
