An urban cowboy from Australia's Gold Coast, I believe that music is as important as the air we breathe, love animals and the country.

I'm also a self-proclaimed Sony "fanboy" and the most optimistic person you'll ever meet. I think you're never too old for "Disney" movies and I believe Disney Land is the most magical place in the world!

With regards to gaming, Final Fantasy VII is my all-time favorite game, though this is equally-tied with the Kingdom Hearts series. The "Dead or Alive" series (especially the "beach"/"vollyball" spin-offs), the "Senran Kagura" series and "Duke Nukem Forever" also sit high on my list 'cause let's face it, a game can never have too much eye-candy!

Finally, I'm an epic Aerith (Aeris) Gainsborough fan, collecting anything and everything Aerith (Aeris)-related, rare items in particular.

Nice write up about the future (potential) of the new next generation consoles. I agree with pretty much how you feel, but I'd more inclined not to worry about Sony just suddenly announcing a new predecessor anytime soon (or within 2/3 years) as they've proven they their pretty loyal to their customers.

Unlike MicroSoft who brought out the original Xbox and then the Xbox360 within years after, but what hurt most was when they suddenly abandoned the powerful more reliable original Xbox just to rush the next generation power onto the public so that they can be "first" to do so. Which left many to either upgrade or just play with the little support it had left and yet with still so much power from the console left unseen. :(

All in all, it'd be a foolish move to create a new console that's just going to be more powerful and yet doesn't offer anything new to the 'game'. If anything, it'll be Nintendo that'll come out with new innovations of gameplay...those hardcore gamers may not buy into it....again.
