The Last Story Giveaway! Comments

I first started out with Nintendo when I got my Donkey Kong on about 25 years ago!
My Nintendo journey started like any other relationship; we saw each other from across the room, avoided eye contact and blushed whenever our eyes came in contact. Nintendo walked over, took me out to dinner and then... I woke up, 'cause I actually was having stomach surgery and was anesthetised, and my mum bought me a SNES which came with Super Mario World. Shit was off the chains.
It was so long ago, but I remember playing Pokemon FireRed for the first time on GBA. Just me and Charmander. Since then I have loved Pokemon games and bought nearly all of them, even though I am still a horrible trainer. :P From that I got a Wii, and discovered Zelda, and loved it. I now own a small fortune in Wii and DS games. I still play FireRed to this day, with my Charizard!

My relationship with Nintendo began all those years ago when I received the remarkable Pokemon Blue. The world of Pokemon then caused me to receive a Nintendo 64 for Pokemon Stadium which led to many great memories with various Nintendo franchises. I have been with Nintendo through the good and the bad. The love is still as strong today as the day I met you Nintendo. (love)
'Twas a gloomy day on a Saturday afternoon, the rain was drizzling and thus my little brother and I were stuck inside. Our family had never owned a gaming console, but this was going to be a memorable day. Our elder brother arrived home with a rather large box.

Quizzing him, he told us it was a Super Nintendo which he has wanted for a long time ever since he played one at our cousin's house. Little did I know that he has saved up months of pay at the local Mcdonalds to purchase the console.

He then proceeded to boot up the console and the accompanying game- Super Mario World. Many hours of falling down gaps, jumping on goomba heads were enjoyed but sharing the one controller between three people wasn't!

We then begged him to purchase a second controller and after a month or two- we got one. It was a joyous day and on the days he had work, my little brother and I would boot up the game and play our favourite area- the star world which we still play together on the Wii now :D

At the end of the year 2000, I woke up on Christmas morning to find that Santa Claus had brought me my very own transparent purple GameBoy Colour and a copy of Pokémon Red. I quickly fell in love with it; I still remember roaming Mt. Moon for the first time with my Ivysaur. I have owned every Pokémon game since, and have also found enjoyment in shooting down Chozo Ghosts, ripping apart Mechon and either riding, sailing or flying around Hyrule in a green tunic. And of course, saving my princess from another castle.
i like to call this one: Pokemon Red for the GBA

under the tranquil new moon of a summers day
i went inside to play play play
a gift in a bow
my fingers weren't slow

an instance the game laid bare
eyes of gapened gaze did stare
with cartridge of pokemon red
i played until my body forced me to bed

i awoke in the moons night
with a tremendous fright
and with cold sweat and warm hands
i traversed the pokelands
and much to my strife
i was at the ends of my battery's life

with lifeforce renewed
and my anger subdued
i returned to the realm of my childhood dreams
The first day i started as a Nintendo kid, was when my dad came home with my first gameboy when i was around 5. My favourite game was zelda! Then came the gameboy colour, playing pokemon non stop for days! Gamecube Then came my DS and there was no one who could pull me from it, Pokemon, Zelda, Petz. Now my Wii! Super smash brothers brawl, Zelda, Soul Calibur, The wii remote brang so much exitement! And that is how i have always been and stuck as a NINTENDO GAMER!!! :D
Many moons ago, way back in my hey day, in hindsight I 'stupidly' fell in love with a drug using, abusing gamer. His description of a date or good time was to pick me up, take me to his house (where all his mates were), they'd get stoned and we'd all play the Nintendo 64. They were wasted, or busy with the munchies, so I got maximum game time, hence my love shifting from him and to the console! The beginning of a life long love affair with Nintendo. He's long gone, but I still have the '64!
I first became a Nintendo gamer when I was about 4. It was my parents anniversary, and my Dad bought my Mum the original Gameboy with Tetris and Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land. I must have played them almost every day.
But when I actually became a proper fan of Nintendo was when I got a Nintendo 64 for Christmas. I kept it for years, buying and playing the games that are now regarded as some of the greatest games of all time. Those games defined my childhood, and ever since then I have been a loyal Nintendo gamer.
It all happened on one fateful day when I was 4 years old. I was wandering around my brother's room when I stumbled upon a grey brick: a classic Gameboy. Inside of it was not only my first game I ever really played, but also the first game I ever finished, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. From that moment when I switched on the Gameboy and heard the distinct "Da-ding!" sound I knew I had become a Nintendo gamer.

And here I am, 13 years on and still an avid Nintendo gamer. I owe that company and Shigeru Miyamoto a small portion of my life, because Nintendo has made quite an impact on me.
Late one night, 20+ years ago, my Dad and Grandad were looking in the Trading Post and saw something that caught their eyes. The left in a rush, and 1 hour later returned with a big cardboard box. Inside was a NES, 2 Controllers, a NES Zapper, Mario/Duckhunt, The Legend of Zelda, Balloon Fight, Ice Climber and Kid Icarus. I have been playing Nintendo games ever since.
it was years and years ago and i found a DK JR G&W at a department store for $10 so i got it because it was cheap and i was curious. i got home turned it on and just loved it and mysteriously after reading it was made by nintendo i saw a SNES advertised on TV and that was when i started playing nintendo
I was born to be a gamer. A Nintendo gamer, to be exact.
The game boy passed down from sister, to my brother, and then finally to the tiny four-year-old me at that time. Yes indeed, I should make it my family heirloom.
The game boy, GBA, '64, Gamecube, DS, Wii...if these consoles weren't created, there'd be no point in living .____.
gotta love Nintendo :3
My grandma bought my sister and I a Nintendo 64 with Mario Kart and Banjo Kazooie. Best present ever. It's been the only console I've ever owned that I didn't own a single bad game for. No Superman, no Rugrats, just Banjo Kazooie, Super Smash Bros, Mario Party, Zelda; all of the good stuff. I honestly don't know how we managed, considering my sister and I were kids and our parents and relatives were non-gamers. Perhaps things might have turned out differently if I got just one crap game for my birthday...
I enjoyed Nintendo 64, but I really became a Nintendo gamer when I got my DSi. Awesome, playing here, there and everywhere....in meetings, on the toilet, even while I was on the phone. So my little DSi got me hooked, then when I got my Wii, oh gee you couldn't drag me off of it for months!!! I still play it every day.....when I should be doing housework!
DONKEY KONG COUNTRY!!!! The original one, could not get enough of it. Each afternoon my best mate would come over and we'd play it well into the night. We had to collect each and every single thing, finding every hidden room, each of us not wanting the other to progress too far, being left behind. It really was game on ;O
I started playing nintendo 64 when i was 5 and i versed my brother in mario kart and diddy kong and other games like those ones, it was a fun experience for my although i always got my ass wooped by him mercilessly, i made a come-back later though on the Game cube with medal of honor pearl harbor while playing multiplayer, i always remember those times and think back with a good laugh or two.
It all began when I was about three years old. I would spend most of my time playing on the SNES and Game Boy, but I was extremely ecstatic I when I finally got my hands on the much-coveted Nintendo 64.

I explored Hyrule and Termina to the content of twenty hearts, with my Bunny Hood flapping wildly through the wind. I fought many bouts in the futuristic war between the Maian race and the Skedar, tormenting my foes with a remote-controlled Slayer rocket.

I formed a lifelong attachment to these games and more; I still play them, even today.
My story Began when I was a young chap, and my brother had gone out and bought the nintendo Entertainment System as a surprise, along with mario, and ever since then i fell in love with it, i would play the system Day and night.
I only had Mario, Duck Hunt and Digger, but they kept me entertained until we got the Super NES, along with mario world Pack, and then bought other nintendo titles like DOnkey Kong Series, Super Metroid Mortal Kombat etc and ever since then i been a huge nintendo fan but as of recent i decided to recollect all the games i once owned and now have a growing collection of NES, Super NES and other retro Gaming consoles
When my dad got me an NES and I said what is that? He said it is a video game system and he needed help in the first Super Mario Bros. so I picked up the controller and helped him beat it. Nintendo made me a true gamer and I fell in love from the start <3 <3 <3
First game i played was Dunk Hunt it would be around the early 90's, i saw the words "Nintendo" on the gun but didn't know how significant this word "Nintendo" would mean to me later on in life. Years went by and my parents got me a Gameboy with the game Super Mario World, seeing the word "Nintendo" made me remember how fun Duck hunt was... I had hours of fun. I knew from that day on that i would only buy Nintendo... and before i knew it i was a huge fan of Nintendo with the N64 and Wii.
My gaming days began as i was only 2 years out of the womb. Playing a primitive Atari 2600, i never realized then exactly what this past time would bring me. I was given a NES when it was available and instantly fell in love with Mario Bros. My fondest memory was waiting up until 2am with my parents while they finished 18 holes of Golf on the NES just to get in 1 multiplayer game of Mario Bros with my dad. Now im 28 and my son plays it with me regularly too. The blood of a Nintendo gamer has passed on.
Nintendo... I remember the day when it all started. I was a measly 2 years old. Life was dull. I went to kindie every day and played with the same toy truck. Then one afternoon I remember there was an overcast in the sky and a slight breezed swayed the trees as I came into the front door of my house. I walked inside. I noticed a box. It had the letters N, E and S printed on it. My old man saw the eye contact and his words were: "Thats a Nintendo Entertainment System boy." I never looked back.
Nintendo. I remember when I first played a Nintendo game, it was when I was in Year 2. Playing Super Mario Bros. on the GBA. A few years later, I purchased a 3DS and began playing New Super Mario Bros and Mario Kart. Then the Wii came out and I purchased New Super Mario Wii Version. Nintendo has definitely changed my life, a nintendo game was one of the first games I ever played.

Pokemon Red Version...

I was mainly pulsed by smash bros on 64, and then owning a copy of Smash Bros. Melee is where the true gamer life started.
I only became a Nintendo gamer when I won a Nintendo DS a year ago in a competition.
I didn't realise this was the moment until much later in life, but the moment I officially would have been classified as a Nintendo gamer, or fanboy, was when I had just finished my second full playthrough of "Mario's Time Machine". This Mario game is probably the least popular, and not exactly a mario game, but it had Mario in it and that was enough for me! I finished the game, achieving the multiple endings, multiple times! [Derp] If finding years worth of entertainment out of that doesn’t make me a Nintendo gamer to you . . . then you suck [Shifty]

words:100 [MOG]

EDIT: not to seem a bit pedantic, but alot of the posts here aren't actually eligible for the prize since they are over or under the word limit. For example, Mira's is about 90 words over :P. Just check how many words you used. If you don't want to win and just want to tell your story, then i guess write as much as you want :P. Wouldn't want you to miss out being in the running because of a few words.

Notice the bottom line:

Three winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries. Only open to Australian residents.

Now this is a story
all about how my life
is awesome and I got the crown,
I'd like to take a minute
Hey! Listen! Be cool~
I'll tell you how I became the prince
of a land called Hyrule...

In Melbourne, Victoria
born and raised
In the living room is how I spent
most of my days
chilling out, maxing
and relaxing all cool
and catching them all
outside of school

When a couple of guys
they were up to no good
started making trouble in our neighborhood,
My Pikachu fainted and my mum thought it was cruel,
She said your moving
in with Zelda and Link in Hyrule.

I whistled for a horse and when it came near
It's name was Epona
and I had nothing to fear,
If anything I could say that this horse was no fool,
But I thought nah, forget it
Yo, home to Hyrule!

I pulled up to a castle about seven or eight
I yelled to the Happy Mask Salesman, have a terrible fate!
Looked at my kingdom, it's gonna be cool!
To sit on my throne as the Prince of Hyrule!

Well.... Everything started when I wa still in Tokimum's belly. Tokimum was playing the very first handheld game system, gameboy and all I hear was..... "tin-tintintin tintintin tin tintin" while I was like 5 months old in Tokimum's belly [MOG]

The very first game I played was Pokemon yellow on gameboy colour. I was 3 years old and I was playing it till gold and silver came out.
The fondest memories in my childhood was obvs pokemon. I played pokemon yellow 24/7, I was called teh best from all my friends [MOG] Pokemon yellow randomly glitched my game once and it made me start all over and I believe the reason the game glitched was because I traded my pikachu to pokemon red/blue/green and evolved it to Raichu. I still regret that day <\3

Also since I'm Japanese so I had Many other games that werent even released outside of Japan as well <3

Any pokemon game was my favourtr <3

I posted this from mobile, and had no Internet for almost 3 months, feel some symthaphy :'@
i saw my first love when i was 7 on that faithful christmas day....snes packed in with super mario world....

baaaah **** it imma just buy the game
Nintendo's and my relationship started about 20 years or so ago when I received for Christmas my Gameboy with tetris, I was addicted to that game! To this day my Nintendo relationship grows bigger and better every year. Now it's the Wii with the multitude of games to help me stay fit.
Mario and Sonic at the Olympics. Great fun for Mum even more entertainment for the kids watching Mum..
Before cars and boys and Facebook there was Donkey Kong and as a pimply adolescent I honed my skill, now as an adult and mother, I still crave my regular fill!!!
I became a gamer simply to get my boyfriend's attention - I would have had no chance otherwise!
Well, I just noticed my story needs to be 50-100 words, so I'll add to the above by saying I knew my boyfriend was into gaming, so I started doing it on the sly so I'd get good at it, then I just casually brought up into conversation that I loved gaming on my Nintendo and snagged him that way!
Some might say it was a curse, others might say it was the start of an addiction, for me, it was the beginning of a gamer. Who knew 22 years ago opening such a birthday gift would change someone’s way of life, someone’s identity perhaps. It was the device used to escape realism as we know it. Immerse in adventures inconceivable by the human mind, whether it was exploring space as a bounty hunter to saving a princess in a mushroom land. It was one word that made it possible, it was ‘Nintendo’
Geez I still remember the first time I picked up a controller not knowing what I was getting myself into! Lift the lid on the nintendo game box to slide the game in and then I traveled to a place where time didn't exist. 6pm soon became 6am! School days soon became sick days! You could hear the words "Just 5 more minutes" being yelled from my room constantly. Ahhh....they were the good ol' days (love)
When my sex life hit a brick wall my excitement was enjoyed and still is with Nintendo:)
My first memory is playing Duck Hunt on the Nintendo Entertainment System! It was the next game system my dad bought after the Atari (LOL!) and I loved it!! Looking back now, I can't believe how such basic games provided so much joy! Other favourite games included Hogans Alley, Baseball, and of course SUper Mario Brothers!
I fell in love with nintendo when I was very young - I played super mario 64 on a friends' nintendo. At the time we didn't have much money to buy one, so I borrowed their console once, but of course I had to eventually return it. Until one night I was in the bath and I heard Mario noises coming from the lounge room. When I saw the console, I was happy and asked if we borrowed our friends'. They said to me no and that it was mine. And so began my love of nintendo!
First started when i played donkey kong country on SNES. Loved that game so much and was so addictive and got me interested in gaming altogether. Still love that game to that day and have since played hundreds of nintendo titles and favourites have included the pokemon titles which i spent hundreds of hours on as a kid, super smash bros and others
Mario brothers on the orginal Nintendo , it was luxury compared to Atari. I went from ping to a whole new world and tought games couldn't get better than this. How things have changed in 30 years and I've played it all as it advanced. *_*
Back in the day i spent many hours on my much loved "fire attack". Gotta love the good ole 80's game 'n watch. Wish my kids were so easily amused.... be heaps cheaper(understatement)
50 Back in the 80's when 90% of mmgn's meber whr nothing but a little sperm in thr daddies gonads [MOG]100
yoshi's island and mario karts :) my nephew got me and my sisiter into the games we both just had to be the best and always fought over who was gonna be princess lol :D
Back in yr 5 in primary school, circa 1982, my BFF Vicki, went to Singapore on holiday with her mum and came back with a green, single screen Donky Kong Jr "Game and Watch" Console. I was in total envy and absolute awe having never seen one before. Vicki shared it with me and I was hooked! I later, after much begging and pleading, eventually got dad to buy me one (he was happy just to shut me up). Then, about a year later, my much older brother bought me a two-screen Game & Watch called "Oil Panic" for my birthday. It was like he'd given me a Ferrari, I was so in love with it. Much later in life when I met my 'husband to be', he asked me "so what do you like doing with yourself?" the first words out of my mouth were "I love playing Nintendo!" While dating we would play hours of Tetris. It was a match made in heaven!
Honestly, my early memories of gaming are incredibly hazy. I'm not sure what the very first video game I played was. Apparently we once had some NES-rip-off system called Tenindo or something that played Super Mario Bros. but even then, I don't remember playing it. I remember seeing the controller though, it lacked the words "NINTENDO" on it.

I do remember getting a Gameboy pocket, GBC and N64. I remember playing games like Super Mario Land 1 and 2, Pokemon Blue, Link's Awakening DX, SM64, MK64, Majora's Mask and more. I remember when playing Majora's Mask for the first time (I got it before Oot) and going to Termina Field and hearing the BGM, and thinking "Hey, it's that music that played in Link's Awakening". =P

As far as GB games go, I think I only ever finished Pokemon Blue, I don't remember finishing Link's Awakening or SML1/2 or others, but I could be wrong. But since Mario and Zelda were a series, I wanted more. So I guess that's how I became a Nintendo gamer. I've been buying the systems and handhelds ever since, including the consoles before the N64 (SNES, NES).
I first started playing on the N64. I played Super Mario and the challenge of collecting all those stars and saving Princess Peach kept me entertained for hours. I now play Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii and still spend hours playing! Mario never bores me. (Unlike my husband!)
Back in the olden days, when I was 16 or so
the nintendo 64 was the gaming machine everyone was raving about.
Out the door, and down to the store. We must get one my sister said.
well blow me down, Mario was in town!
No sleep to be had, off to save the princess she said
well blow me with your flames Bowser
a princess Im here to save!
Despite my age, I'm a recent convert to the Nintendo family. Brain training became a necessity, and then as the kids got older so too did gaming, apparently! In a house of myself, miss 10, miss 8 and master 3, we have three over used Nintendo DSi's and a Wii (which they let me win on occasionally!). *_*
It all started one shiny day. My uncle and aunt came for a visit, and with them was a shiny NES! I obviously didn't know what it was called at the time, but it came with this strange game where you jump under blocks with question marks and kill tortoises (I didn't know Super Mario Bros. was called Super Mario Bros. either). This was the beginning of my long relationship with Nintendo and video games in general.
This story begins on a planet far far away. It all started when I was walking through a store and I seen a little green dinosaur looking thing which I later came to find out was called Yoshi on the cover of a game. I tried then and there to convince my mother dearest to buy me a Snes and the game but she refused I raged and that was that. A few days later I visited a friend and what do you know he had this game and a Snes we spent hours playing Mario all day and night to be exact, I didn't want to leave but I had that mindless boring thing one would call "school" the next day. Soooo I plotted a plan so some how end up with a Snes and Mario but it failed more then Wiid00d's "Mywii and friends" series", my parents refused time after time to buy me one each time saying I don't deserve it (pretty sure the fact I was a little shit had nothing to do with it, wouldn't you agree?) I decided I would just give up and face the facts I was never getting one. Time went by and it was Christmas and there was a box under the tree with my brothers name and mine on it I got ever so excited only to find out it was not a Snes but a Sega not that it was a bad thing. The Snes sorta went to the back of my mind as did my love for Nintendo but then it was re-sparked when I played "Conker's Bad Fur Day" on N64 and since that day I have loved Nintendo.
My relationship started only last September when my husband gave me a Nintendo Wii for my birthday. I started off with a little mario kart and have now gone onto wii sport and wii fit. The whole family gets involved, my 4yr old son has become more co ordinated and just loves playing also. I have a 9mth old who tries to grab the remote and play, I am sure it wont be long and he will be taking part also.
Sibling rivalry first started my love of Nintendo. My horrible brother had a Sega Mega Drive growing up and would not share. So for my birthday i requested a Nintendo 64. I then managed to convert my brother and we played many a game of Mario Bros together whilst the Mega Drive collected nothing but dust and cobwebs.
Both of us have never looked back since. (*)
Playing Donkey was my frst venture into the world of Nintendo and I have never looked back, each new console, each new great game finds it's way into my shopping trolley!
When my mum got sick of my sister and I asking if we were there yet on our trips from Melbourne to Adelaide, so she bought us a lime green game boy. This kept us amused by playing pokemon. Then we got the wii and my exercise patterns have been on the rise.
My first ever girlfriend Zelda took me on many escapades. She was a Princess to me and I spent many hours trying to understand and appreciate her. There was never a time I didn't think about her and long to be in her company but out love was not to last.... Enter Rosalina and a new phase in my life was about to start!
When I played a game of Wii bowling I was totally addicted and converted to Nintendo. I've gone backwards and now even own a gameboy!
How I first became a Nintendo gamer? Gosh, that was such a long time ago, but I do vaguely remember.

I was really young and my cousin was visiting my nans, he bought his gameboy along and some racing game, he let me have a try of it, but being 2-3 at the time I couldn't really play it properly, but I was fancinated with the machine and what it was like. I eventually got my own gameboy colour because of that expirence, and went onto enjoy it for many years to come.
I won a Wii console and games and was hooked. It was just great to play sports like boxing and tennis without knocking myself or others out.
I wonder how many of these "new" members are people creating a new account and entering twice.

We check that first. Nobody will win if they entered twice :)

I see lol to those who just missed out
so many of these people won't win. do they have dyslexia or something
Many years ago my dad bought me Donkey Kong and I haven't looked back! :)
I became totally addicted to Nintendo twenty years ago when my nephew got his Nintendo 64 and a copy of Mario Brothers. He used to ask me to play with him and I realised I really enjoyed it! It got to the point that he would say, "Aunty, are you in my room again!" Playing Nintendo for me is a total chill out. I can always remember the elation when we finally finished Level 8! Now I have a new generation of Nintendo gamers in my daughter.
I grew up looking over my brothers shoulder watching him play Donkey Kong for hours. I pestered him for months to let me have a go, until he finally relented. Big mistake on my brothers part, I became so addicted to playing he never got it back again and had to ask Mum to buy him a new one.
I became a true Nintendo gamer when I received Nintendo Entertainment System for my birthday back to early 90’s. I was suddenly addicted to playing Super Mario Bros, as I never seen any gaming-consoles before like that. Gameplay was truly plain simple. This game I can control a playable character and jump over the evil monsters, which was totally fun thing to do. These NES games’ graphics are kind of actually beautiful and fresh bright. My whole life would be different if Nintendo was never existed. I still have every Nintendo console from NES to Wii. I’m Nintendo fanboy forever!
All those many years ago, waiting around all day. Just me, my cousin and our GBC's with Pokemon yellow in them. Every day, we'd sit around the lounge, just continuously playing and playing unitl they ran out of batteries. Scrounging around for them in every possible place we could think. just wanting to be closer to our pokemon as they grew on us, from the moment we had first laid eyes on that Pikachu running towards the screen.
Any time we did run out of batteries and were left pondering what to do next, we always had the trustful Nintendo 64. All the time, coming down to battling in Pokemon Stadium, or going on a adventure in Banjo Kazzoie, across worlds inside of paintings in Super Mario 64, racing over many tracks with items in Mario Kart 64 or just spraying bullets in Goldeneye 007.
No matter what it was, they were some of those great moments that a lot of people would forget.
But... These moments right here, made me into the gamer I am today, and I will cherish these memories forever. Nintendo created most of us. I was just one of the many.
I started with Donkey Kong in the 80s and became addicted! Now I love Mario Kart on the Wii! LOVE Nintendo!
It started with a kiss,
although it was just my bubbly granny.... not exactly bliss!
But it was Chrissy time, and she gave me this nifty little hand held Donky Kong Dual screen game.
Well! I played until blood was seeping out of my hands I reckon, and I was only eleven or 12 years old. I've had every console since and love my Nintendo games :)
I went to camp for a week at 14. Came back and my younger brother had red thumbs from his Gameboy. He had forced breaks because of his thumbs, so I got my opportunity and was hooked. I was next with those red thumbs!
I started gaming with TRS 80 (my Dads) then moved on to the Tape powered games (Frogger etc) My first Nintendo had cartridges and I just was so awed by the graphics (and my Dad) I think I was about eleven (I'm nearly 36 now) The legend of Zelda was my favourite.. the whole fantasy theme has always been my thing. I think without my Dads love for technology I wouldn't of had the experiences. Thanks Dad, back then it was not so cool being a computer nerd, but I love my Dad for it xxxx
My passionate relationship with Nintendo began the day my parents bought me a Nintendo 64 in 1997 (Unfortunately the Super Nintendo was 1 year before my time). In particular it was one game some of you might know as Super Mario 64, which formed my love for such a brand. I spent countless hours upon hours playing that game. The relationship between Nintendo and myself has hit a few bumps and has taken a few detours on the way, but even so it still remains ever so strong as it did back in 1997.
Something, something 1987 ... or maybe '88. I was a Commodore boy with run commands, dots and commas on my mind. Mario entered my life by way of my older brother but never quite managed to sway me from my locked box packed with five and quarter diskettes, the little plumber just didn't blow my mind. I had a casual relationship with my brother's Nintendo branded mistress over the years but it wasn't until one fateful day in the early 90's when I tried my hand at a little game called Battletoads. Night after night after night - hover bikes, spelunking and generally getting my @ss handed to me by the evil Dark Queen's minions. I bought my own console and soon the gamepad and I became one. The C64 was packed away and the console became my way of life, it became my life.
I stated playing the Nintendo in 95 mario oh the fun we had then progresed onto the Wii I just love mario, I am of course Princess in all games and now introduced the games to my foster child who now has the nintendo 3Ds and loves mario sonic and puppy i cant get her off it, but once she is at school out comes the Wii and mario cart is in full swing once again with me as princess desperately trying to take top score
Hey who actually won this?
