This is pretty awesome.

Batman star Christian Bale has visited the survivors of the Aurora theater shooting at a Colorado hospital.

12 people where killed and 58 injured when a gunman opened fire at a Dark Knight Rises screening in the US.

I'm not sure if it had anything to do with it, but there was a Facebook message being virally shared asking him to be a "real" hero and visit the victims (dressed as Batman).
