Welcome to another Minecraft update article where we showcase what's been going on in the world of Minecraft. The members that roam the Gibson server is always buiding and destroying and I felt like it was time to check up on them. What I've included in this article is some of the things that I've been noticing for a while so I thought I would like to share them with the rest of you. If I happened to missed whatever it is you've been working on, feel free to post some screenshots and info here. 

Guyver being back from his break means Minecraft Mondays are back, yay! It's the same old, same old with the exception that Guyver may have another Mega Mall sale if he chooses to. Lots of people actually donated when they took from the last two sales which was impressive. People can check out the GN thread here.

It's been a while since there's been a community project since everyone's off on their own doing their own thing. Which is okay since building a community organization takes a lot of time and planning to pull it off. If you ever feel like taking a break from your own personal project, you and a group of people could always work on some of these huge projects, suggested by MMGN's resident mangina, Harry. 

The MMGN Minecraft server resides in a humble server called the Gibson, I’m sure most of you would have heard of this server by now but for those that haven’t Harry has thrown together an article giving a full rundown of the server. It covers everything from rules right through to how you can donate. Any general discussion, questions or suggestion you may have about the server can be discussed in the Minecraft server thread.

Hey0 server mods are long gone and now we have been using Bukkit for some time now with very little issues, if you want to know a little more about it then check this link. What that means for you guys that frequent the MMGN server is that the commands you have gotten used to will have changed, bare with us as we work the new system out. As time progresses this server mod seems to get better with more and more plugins becoming available. Since Minecraft gets a lot of game updates there will be times when the mods and plugins will not all be working, when this happen please be patient as we wait for the server updates to be released. Usually all these mod and plugin updates are only a day or so behind the actual game updates.

Next Update – A New Mob Appears!

As people eagerly wait the next major update for Minecraft, Notch teases the latest addition to those pesky mobs. Named 'Enderman', these creepy mofo's looks as though they are able to pick up blocks. We still don't know the reason for that but we do know if you stare at them long enough, they are able to follow you. Not only that, but they can also teleport to you if you're far away. Talk about creepy! These guys are generally peaceful so make sure you don't have your crosshair aimed at them. 

Oh and if you haven't heard already, Notch is getting married this weekend. Congrats and best wishes to him! In celebration of such an occasion, for this weekend only; if you buy Minecraft, you will recieve a gift code. So give that code to the last handful of stubborn people who have yet to own Minecraft. *cough* Tia! *cough*. So get on it!

Now it's time for the eye candy. Again, I apologize if I didn't get to showcase your work in the latest article update. Since the map is so endless and people work in different spots, it's hard to check them all out so if you definitely want your work to be shown off, remember to post all your screenshots and info in the Minecraft Server thread. 

Spawn and its Surroundings

The spawn area has been griefed lately and while we haven't caught the culprit yet, it's starting to get annoying how some things have been slightly altetered. Their easy to fix but seeing it constantly can get under anyone's skin. Anyway, during a Minecraft GameNight, we all thought the spawn area could use a well-dererve update. And what better way than to have an all new spawn building. Where Roy's old house used to be, the new spawn house has nested itself comfortably and vacant spot. We can thank admins; Nothing07 and Marge for building the new spawn house and also providing some basic tools for those that just started their adventure. 

Guyver

Poor Guyver hasn't been on Minecraft in a while and he's done since he's come back is stock up on wool and other materials. Not only that, but he also had to deal with the some of the griefing his buildings had suffer. It was of mice were living under his basement, gnawing at all the wires. Thankfully, he has restored his creations and managed to make another pixel art. If you look closer, Toad is acutally giving the finger. >:)

M@ndyz

If you remember Mandy's recent project, you would know she's been working on the iconic buildings of Bikini Bottom. So far, she's done Sandy's bubbledome, the Krusty Krab, and the Chum Bucket. So props to her on that! Mandy later came up with the idea of making famous Companion Cube. The results speaks for itself. 

Kenni

Some of you may know that for the past month I've been working on a mega sized 3D pokeball, inspired by the article of suggested projects made by Harry. I wasn't satisfied with just making such a project so I decided to work on Gibson's fist ever massive Pokemon Stadium, complete with both a red and blue trainer side. Getting the bottom entrance requires entering the Trainer's quarters where the entrance to either side is available. The stadium is not yet open to the public (unless you have fly mod on and want to check it out, regardless) as I'm ironing out some kinks here and there. I also decided on making a Pokecenter/Daycare center. Once both projects are complete, I will find a way to make a destistion stop for the railroad system.   

Kerosanak

Kero has been expanding his area and surroundings into what is now a nice, little, town. Not only do you have the Mayor's office, but the town also has a hospital and a fire department. So convienent how the two are close to the local stripper club in case the place is on fire and strippers are in need of medical attention. Kero's and Mandy's places are accesible when you take one of the railroad tracks, provided by Marge.
